DIY: Foot bath with propolis

Whether after a long day at work or for foot care, e.g. for athlete's foot, nothing beats a relaxing and soothing foot bath. Unfortunately, when we want to do something good for our body and relax, our feet are all too often forgotten or we have no idea how to put together a pleasant foot bath to relax.

Today I have a quick DIY for you for a pleasant footbath wellness moment. This way you can relax and care for your feet at the same time after a long and tiring day. The great thing about this foot bath is that it contains only natural products: Propolis, tea tree oil, baking soda and lemons, each individual product cares for and relaxes you with the power of nature.

You need:

1 liter of water (approx. 40°C)
2 tablespoons of baking soda
5 drops of tea tree oil
10 drops of propolis tincture 10%
1/2 lemon

Pour the warm water into a wide bowl or footbath and add the baking soda. Stir until the baking soda has dissolved thoroughly in the water. Add the tea tree oil and propolis drops and stir again. Slice the lemon and place it in the bowl. Sit down comfortably and immerse your feet in the foot bath. Enjoy the moment for about 15-20 minutes and try to forget the stresses of everyday life. Breathe in and out regularly through your nose. After the footbath, pat your feet dry with a towel and exfoliate or apply cream if you wish.

This foot bath can help to relax and refresh tired and aching feet. Baking soda can help reduce sweat odor and bacteria, while propolis is said to have an antifungal effect in naturopathy, helping to care for your feet with the power of nature. Tea tree oil has antimicrobial properties that provide support in reducing bacteria on the skin.
