DIY - Propolis cream

Natural cosmetics are not only a trend these days, they are above all free from any chemical additives that can damage the skin in the long term. In this blog post, we would like to show you a natural recipe for your own propolis cream that you can easily make at home. The most important ingredient is the propolis tincture. Propolis can help with skin conditions such as neurodermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, herpes and acne and support the treatment of the condition.
Propolis has been used as a natural antiseptic for thousands of years and can have an antibacterial and antiviral effect. The propolis obtained from the plants and trees contains flavonoids and phenols to which these antioxidant properties are attributed.
Make your own propolis cream
You need two important ingredients to make your own propolis cream:
1. Skin cream without chemical additives (we recommend a natural zinc cosmetic cream)
2. 20% propolis tincture from bedrop
Instructions:
- Take the whole skin cream out of the jar and put it in a small bowl.
- For 100 grams of cream, add 30 drops of the 20% propolis tincture.
- Now mix well
(Attention: Due to the ethanol content, the propolis can easily clump together, if you want to avoid this, you can also buy our 5% propolis tincture alcohol-free, but use double the amount (60 drops of propolis tincture)). - After you have mixed the cream with the propolis drops well, you can now put it back into the jar and store it well.
- From now on: Use as required!
If you have a skin cream from a tube, we recommend getting a jar in advance so that you can pour the propolis cream into it. You can determine the intensity of the propolis strength as you wish. We generally recommend using a little less and gradually increasing the dosage. Everyone is different, while some people need less propolis, others will need to dose a little higher. The main advantage of these instructions is that you don't have to run to the pharmacy if you need a propolis cream, you can make it yourself from now on and have the propolis cream to hand at all times.
So that you have a clear overview of what you can use your own propolis cream for, we have summarized the most important areas of application for you:

At this point we would like to mention that we refrain from making promises and healing claims with propolis.
