Use & questions about fresh royal jelly
Royal jelly (also known as royal j elly ) is a special bee product and resembles a delicious and sweet blossom honey at first sight. However, the two bee products differ in taste. Like propolis, royal jelly can cause confusion in its use. It is important to clarify which areas of application are possible, which needs are to be supported, how to take and dose it correctly and, above all, the shelf life and storage of royal jelly.
The queen bee is fed exclusively with this royal jelly for her entire life. Due to this diet, royal jelly is attributed a property in the beekeeping world. The queen bee can live for an average of 4 years and lay up to 1,500 eggs in one day.
Although the consumption of royal jelly cannot guarantee a longer life for us humans, it can support the appearance of our skin as we age:
Royal jelly offers natural support for our well-being. The queen's food juice is rich in the vitamin groups B, A and E, proteins as well as minerals and trace elements. These active ingredients can be easily absorbed and processed by the body.

Due to the various active ingredients and minerals, royal jelly can be used in many different ways. The effects and properties of royal jelly can be supportive for humans and animals with various needs. For long-term and preventative support, we recommend using royal jelly correctly.

What can I do with royal jelly?
You can use royal jelly for internal and external use. It all depends on the needs you want to address with this product. We offer fresh royal jelly and royal jelly capsules for ingestion in our store.
It is important to note that when using royal jelly, it should be clarified beforehand whether you have any allergies to bees or bee products. We therefore recommend carrying out a small allergy test:
To do this, apply a little fresh royal jelly to the inside of your wrist and wait for about half an hour. If there is no redness, irritation or itching after this time, you can probably use royal jelly for yourself. We recommend consulting your doctor if you are unsure, have concerns or are pregnant. The latter in particular should be taken under medical supervision.
For internal use, you can put the pure royal jelly in your mouth with a spoon and let it slowly dissolve. This has the advantage that the oral mucosa can absorb the active ingredients it contains more quickly. Another option is to mix the royal jelly with honey or other spreads and then spread it on your breakfast bread.
Of course, you can also add royal jelly to your breakfast cereal, smoothie or juices (e.g. orange juice); you are free to take it however you like.
You have a wide range of external applications . You can add royal jelly to your creams, mix well and apply as an anti-ageing cream. This can not only help against possible skin wrinkles, but also moisturize the skin. Many large and well-known brands are increasingly using royal jelly in their cosmetic lines (see Guerlain Paris). If you have blemishes, you can mix some royal jelly with water and apply it to the blemished area with a cotton pad or dab it on and allow it to absorb well.
When taking and using royal jelly capsules, they are used internally, i.e. the royal jelly capsules are taken in the form of a dietary supplement. The effects that can be achieved here are similar to those of internal use with fresh royal jelly.
Particularly in Asia (Japan, Korea), great importance is attached to royal jelly for skin care. They use it mainly for its influence on well-being.
How do I use royal jelly correctly?
In general, we recommend using royal jelly as a kind of dietary supplement for preventive skin care needs.
When taking it, the recommended daily dose for an adult of approx. 500 mg / day should not be exceeded.
When using the respective product(royal jelly fresh or royal jelly capsules), the consumption recommendations given by us must be observed. The product should always be taken in the morning on an empty stomach. If nausea occurs, we recommend taking smaller amounts and gradually increasing the dose.
What is the storage and shelf life of royal jelly?
The bees give the food to the queen bee fresh and, unlike honey and pollen, do not store it. It is therefore advisable to always store royal jelly in a dry and, above all, cool place. The royal jelly can be kept in the freezer (at a temperature of at least -18°C) until the best before date stated. Once the royal jelly has thawed, it should be consumed in the refrigerator (at approx. 5°C) within six weeks.
Important: Once defrosted, royal jelly should not be refrozen more than once. Repeated thawing and freezing can have a negative effect on the effect and shelf life of the product.
Can it be used for children and animals?
You can use the Royal Jelly Fresh for your children or animals (dog, cat, etc.) without any concerns. Check beforehand whether there is a possible allergy to bees or bee products and discuss this with the relevant doctor if necessary.
