Propolis for acne | Customer feedback & experience report

OVERVIEW ACNE
A large proportion of adolescents struggle with acne during puberty. Acne also occurs from time to time in adults and older people during the menopause.
In medicine, a distinction is made between the form and duration of acne. An exact definition of acne is not possible, as this skin disease has many different forms. The appearance and symptoms of acne are congruent in all cases and can be recognized by the appearance of the skin. From blackheads and pustules to severely inflamed, pus-filled pimples. But what are the causes of this inflammatory skin disease?
Causes of acne
The triggers can be many different factors, which in the worst case can interact and intensify the symptoms. The most common form is acne vulgaris, which is mainly caused by hormonal changes that occur during puberty or pregnancy. Other causes can be external influences and genetic predisposition.
Bacteria and hormonal changes
Male sex hormones(androgens) play a major role in the hormonal changes of adolescents during puberty and are therefore often responsible for the poor skin appearance of acne vulgaris. The androgens lead to an enlargement of the sebaceous glands and produce more sebum, resulting in hyperfunction of the sebaceous glands. Normally, the sebum reaches the skin surface via the sebaceous gland duct, but this is blocked, resulting in a blockage of the excretory duct. The sebum can no longer drain away, resulting in blackheads and visible, reddish inflammation on the surface of the skin caused by bacteria settling in the sebaceous glands. The inflammation caused by bacteria increases on the skin.
Women also produce male hormones such as androgen, but oestrogen (female sex hormone) reduces acne. Hormonal changes during puberty, discontinuation of the contraceptive pill or pregnancy increase the likelihood of acne breaking out.
Propolis against acne
Alisha S. has struggled with acne since the onset of puberty and the development of her body. This is a major problem, especially for young girls and women her age. In the teenage years, appearance plays an even greater role. She has already heard about propolis from her father, who is a satisfied customer of ours and recommended her to use the propolis tincture 20% for her complaints. The propolis can have an antibacterial and antibiotic effect and relieve the red inflammation on her face. No sooner said than done, Alisha took her father's advice to heart and started using the propolis tincture 20% against her acne. Through our customer support, we were able to inform you about the use of a "propolis facial toner". It is important to fight the body and the disease from the inside, to cleanse it and to include the external application at the same time.
We recommended the propolis capsules to Alisha S. for oral intake (supporting the body from the inside) and the 20% propolis tincture for external use on the affected acne.
Her daily treatment was uncomplicated and was as follows:
1x daily take one propolis capsule with plenty of water.
1x daily treat the acne with the propolis tin cture.
Alisha received a recipe from us for making propolis facial toner with our propolis tincture 20% and made it daily.
She made the propolis toner quickly and easily at home. She added 10 drops of the 20% propolis tincture to 100 ml of water and mixed well. To apply, she dipped a cotton pad (a cotton pad would also work) into the liquid and let it soak in.
After cleansing her face, Alisha went over the acne with the cotton pad every evening and let it work in well. After about 5 minutes, the face was washed with lukewarm water. After this treatment, it is important to apply a moisturizer to the acne so that the skin/face does not dry out.
We received all the pictures from Alisha with her feedback and were overwhelmed by the result. She logged every single day starting from day one so she could see the comparison.
Acne before the propolis application:
"I have struggled with my acne for a long time and took my father's advice. There's no harm in trying. The result after just two days was incredible. After such a short time, I was finally able to do without make-up, which is just as harmful and promotes acne." (Alisha S.)
After two days:
Acne on the face after five days of treatment with propolis facial toner:
We would like to thank Alisha S. for her great feedback and are pleased to have solved her problem.
At this point we would like to mention that we refrain from making promises and healing claims with propolis.
