What does royal jelly do?
Royal jelly, one of the most important bee products alongside honey, pollen and propolis, is known as "bee superfood". It is produced by mixing flower pollen and honey, supplemented by a nutrient-rich secretion from the bees. This special food, which enables the queen bee to live an exceptionally long life of up to four years, is rich in vitamins, proteins and fats.
In skin care, royal jelly supports cell regeneration, slows down skin ageing and promotes collagen production. The fats it contains bind moisture in the skin cells and can help with wrinkles and dry patches of skin.
How does shea butter work?
Shea butter is a natural product and is obtained from the fruit of the shea tree. Inside the fruit is the shea nut, from which the shea butter is cold-pressed. Due to the ingredients and nutrients it contains, shea butter is said to have a moisturizing, nourishing and skin-regenerating effect. Shea butter can help not only with dry, sensitive and problematic skin, but also with joints, back and muscles. Vitamin E, beta carotene and omega 3 fatty acids have antioxidant properties that protect against free radicals and thus prevent damage to the dermis (skin). Skin ageing, wrinkles and stretch marks are naturally cared for by the effect. The focus here is on supple, soft skin with plenty of moisture.
The effect of acacia honey
In naturopathy, honey is considered to have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Acacia honey is rich in potassium, iron, calcium and magnesium. Due to its antioxidants, it is said to help with wounds and dry skin. The fructose contained in acacia honey binds water and fluid in the skin and gives the skin a firm, radiant appearance. These properties help with dermatitis and skin irritations.
