What is propolis?
Propolis is one of the most important substances in the beehive. The worker bees collect the substance, which consists mainly of resin and wax, and bring it to their hive. The hive bees take the propolis from the worker bees and use it to insulate the hive, cement cracks and lay a kind of doormat at the entrance to the hive. This mat serves as a disinfectant for the returning worker bees and its disinfectant properties prevent bacteria, viruses and other harmful microorganisms from entering the hive. To keep the hive antiviral and sterile and thus keep other insects and bacteria away from it, the bees not only constrict the flight holes with propolis, they also cover the entire hive with it. Humans adapt this as skin care and to protect the skin. Propolis Cream offers protection and care for the skin.
What makes beeswax special?
Beeswax is a natural bee product that is rich in natural fats and is therefore used as a base in many cosmetics. Small amounts of beeswax are sufficient to bind creams or ointments to a smooth consistency. The nutrients contained in beeswax give the skin a smooth and nourishing quality. In combination with propolis, beeswax can have an antioxidant effect. We have combined high-dose propolis extract with beeswax in Propolis Cream to mutually support the effect of both products and give your skin natural skin care.
How does grape seed oil work?
Grape seed oil consists of approx. 90% unsaturated fats and vitamin E groups and has a high proportion of oligomeric proanthocyanidins. This usually has an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect. In addition, grape seed oil moisturizes the skin without being greasy and can be used on both oily and dry skin. Grape seed oil has a nourishing effect on acne due to the linoleic acid it contains and also on mature skin.
