What does propolis & honey do?

Alongside honey, pollen and royal jelly, propolis is one of the most important substances in the beehive. The substance, which consists mainly of resin, pollen and wax, is collected by the worker bees and brought into the hive. There, the hive bees take over the propolis and use it to insulate the hive, seal cracks and create a kind of doormat at the entrance to the hive. This doormat serves to disinfect returning worker bees and protect them from pests. In this way, the bees use propolis not only to ward off foreign intruders, but also to maintain hygiene and stability in the hive.

Propolis is characterized by a high content of polyphenols and flavonoids. These natural antioxidants can neutralize free radicals, protect cells from oxidative stress and thus nourish and support the skin."

Lavender honey from Provence is known for its excellent quality and natural sweetness. In addition, lavender honey contains a high concentration of antioxidants that can neutralize free radicals and thus protect and nourish the skin from harmful environmental influences.

How does shea butter work?

Shea butter is a natural product and is obtained from the fruit of the shea tree. Inside the fruit is the shea nut, from which the shea butter is extracted by cold pressing. Due to the ingredients and nutrients it contains, shea butter is said to have a moisturizing, nourishing and skin-regenerating effect. It can have a particularly beneficial effect on dry, sensitive and stressed skin and is also used to massage joints, backs and muscles.

Vitamin E, beta-carotene and omega-3 fatty acids act as antioxidants that can neutralize free radicals. This can protect the skin from oxidative stress, which in turn supports the natural skin barrier. The antioxidant effect can help to reduce the first signs of skin ageing, such as wrinkles and stretch marks. The result is skin that feels supple and nourished and is optimally moisturized.

The effect of olive oil

In naturopathy, olive oil is considered to have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. As a natural base, olive oil can cleanse, protect and nourish the skin in various ways. It has moisturizing properties and can hydrate dry and sensitive skin while leaving it feeling soft and supple. Olive oil contains natural antioxidants and vitamin E, which have soothing and nourishing properties and can help soothe redness, irritation and dry skin. In addition, olive oil contains phenols, which have a potentially supportive effect on skin health and can help reduce blemishes (e.g. acne). These properties help to soothe various skin needs and irritations and support moisturizing and natural skin regeneration.

What makes coconut oil special?

Coconut oil is rich in saturated fatty acids that can provide intense moisturization. This forms a protective barrier on the skin and helps to maintain natural moisture levels, resulting in soft and supple skin. Substances such as lauric acid and capric acid in coconut oil can have a soothing and anti-inflammatory property and nourish and protect the skin in case of redness, irritation and inflammation. The medium-chain triglycerides contained in the oil may have antimicrobial properties and help fight bacteria or fungi on the skin. This can help prevent skin infections and acne. High doses of vitamin E in coconut oil act as a natural antioxidant and can support cell regeneration, perfect for injuries, wounds or burns.

What our customers say

MY STORY

Founder by conviction

Bee products have been with me since I was a child. Every morning I was allowed to take a teaspoon of bee pollen and propolis to boost my well-being. Years later, I used propolis for my neurodermatitis and knew that my fellow sufferers would notice. Even today, I no longer have any flare-ups and have been able to give thousands of people quality of life.

We know our bees

Our passionate beekeepers treat the bees with care. They provide the small farm animals with the necessary resources. To ensure that the beekeepers receive high-quality bee products, the bees are fed with natural products and feed solutions. Our beekeepers refrain from using pesticides & antibiotics and other veterinary drug residues.

The pure air of the idyllic rural regions is reflected in the bees' products. We have packed this purity into our products, pure propolis tinctures whose quality you can literally taste.
